About the CARW Accreditation
The CARW certification is an internationally recognised credential, issued by Career Directors International. The examination is comprehensive and consists of three modules, which include writing two 1000+ word articles on Résumé writing or related topics, preparation of two Résumés and Cover Letters for independent review by the industry accredited Certification Team, and a timed written examination. The CARW designation must be renewed every two years through resume-related continuing education, employment-related book reviews, career-related community service, and/or articles published on Résumé writing.
About the CPRW Accreditation
The CPRW credential was established in 1991 and is recognised as the Global Industry Standard for professional Résumé writers. Writers possessing the CPRW credential must pass a timed examination consisting of four modules, testing their industry knowledge and understanding of the Résumé writing field, their command of grammar, punctuation, spelling and proofreading, and skills in strategic thinking on Résumé related issues. The writer is also required to develop a Résumé and cover letter based upon background information of a hypothetical client provided by the Certification Board. Certification examinations are reviewed and graded by three independent CPRWs who are members of the Board.
